If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a strong understanding of how a Ward operates then we have just the role for you. You will be a Valued member of the Ward team, support the professional staff with the overall care for all patients in the department. It’s a chance to be part of an agile and innovative healthcare company that’s determined to help our partners introduce new ideas and new ways of working, and it’s an opportunity to pursue a rewarding career as a key member of a caring team.   What you'll be doing This role will have clinical and technical responsibilities along with some administrative duties such as welcoming and greeting patients to the department, explaining the layout, demonstrating to the patient how they summon assistance and where fire exits are. You will assist in preparing patient for Theatre informing Nurse in charge of any worries or issues, Ensuring all patient tests results are in patients file for surgery, Ensuring all patient own medication is locked in Medical drawer of patient locker and assisting  in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation. What we’ll look for in you We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of team work and a good work ethic. The ideal applicant will have; Experience or a good understanding of a HCA duties and responsibilities Experience in caring for others The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
