FinTech RS are supporting one of our long-standing clients who are looking to add an Accountant to their busy and growing finance department. The responsibilities outlined include: Preparing accurate financial statements and reports, managing month-end close processes, and overseeing the Treasury function. This involves ensuring tax and payroll compliance, liaising with external tax advisers, and ensuring timely and accurate reports to regulatory authorities. Support for the annual Group audit and other audits is also required. Compliance with financial ethics and procedures, developing an internal audit function, and working with IT to identify efficiency opportunities are crucial. The role aims to enhance the Finance department's profile, support profit maximisation, and manage various projects like ERP upgrades and risk reduction. Leadership duties include managing personnel in Management accounts and Treasury functions, conducting performance reviews, fostering team collaboration, motivating staff, and aligning departmental objectives with organisational goals. Candidates should ideally be qualified however candidates without a professional qualification but have a proven background within a similar role will also be considered.
