This Project Coordinator role offers an opportunity to play a key role in supporting project/contract managers at a leading construction company by ensuring that the planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities are executed efficiently. Key responsibilities: Project Planning & Scheduling: * Coordinate with project/contract managers, site teams, and subcontractors to allocate resource appropriately * Adjust and communicate any changes to the schedule based on project progress, ensuring that all teams are aligned Resource Management: * Track the availability of materials, equipment, and manpower to meet project deadlines * Coordinate the logistics of equipment, subcontractors, and materials to ensure they arrive on-site as scheduled Communication & Liaison: * Act as the central point of contact between different stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, site managers, and suppliers * Ensure that all relevant parties are informed of schedule updates, delays, or changes Document Management: * Maintain project documentation, including work orders, purchase orders, schedules, and reports * Ensure all paperwork is up-to-date and compliant with company standards and regulations Problem-Solving: * Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts or challenges that arise during the project * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to troubleshoot delays or resource shortages The successful candidate will have: * Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and priorities simultaneously * Attention to Detail: Accurate scheduling and tracking of resources and timelines is critical * Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for liaising between multiple parties * Software/IT Proficiency: Excellent computer literacy * Problem-Solving: The ability to anticipate issues and implement solutions to keep the project on track * Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and the lifecycle of a project * Team Player: Acting as an integral part of the team and supporting project/contract managers to achieve overall success Package details: * Full time, permanent contract based at Harrogate head-office * Up to £35,000/year DOE About the company: This leading consultancy specialises in delivering comprehensive fire protection services across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and education.
