Reliability Engineer

Reliability Engineer Alexander Steele is recruiting a reliability engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will monitor equipment downtime, analysing trends to drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives and projects Responsibilities: * Maintain a high level of reliability and availability of factory equipment through an effective planned maintenance regime * Raising of planned maintenance or reactive maintenance jobs for respective area * Interact with on-shift engineers and other site engineering teams to resolve challenging equipment problems * Responsible for the gathering and analysis of equipment efficiency and downtime in order to drive continuous improvement initiatives * Communicate and collaborate with other colleagues, suppliers and contractors Background Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. * Experience gained from an engineering maintenance environment * CAD experience * Knowledge of CMMS system (Mainsaver/Spidex) desirable. * Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
