KDB Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced KDB Developer to join a leading specialized consultancy. In this role, you will be involved in multiple new projects, providing your expertise to drive innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and the electronic trading technology team to develop custom solutions that address business needs.
• Play a pivotal role in the design and architecture of systems for tick data management, data access, feed integration, and scalable analytics platforms.
• Develop new functionalities and enhancements using APIs.
• Focus on automating metrics, establishing robust processes, and conducting comprehensive testing to ensure high-quality delivery.

Required Skills:

• Over 10 years of experience working with KDB.
• Demonstrated success in delivering KDB platforms with a strong emphasis on analytics and effective data utilization.
• Proven ability to work closely with quantitative analysts and front-office teams.
• Primary responsibilities include building data pipelines and transforming raw KDB data into actionable reporting metrics.
• Expertise in developing real-time data flows and pipelines.
• Familiarity with interacting with stakeholders knowledgeable in ION, e-trading, and high-performance standards.

Contract Details:

• This is a long-term contract opportunity with a competitive rate of up to £850 per day.
• The position requires onsite presence in the office 2 days per week.
