Project Planner Kent, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid) MEP Planner Opportunity Salary: Circa £65,000 + Welcome Bonus + Flex Allowance + Bonus + Benefits Contract Type: Permanent Work Hours: Full-time Location: Kent/ Hybrid (3 days onsite) Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking experienced MEP Planners to help drive our clients’ ambitious plans. As part of the construction department, you’ll contribute to delivering critical infrastructure projects focused on sustainability. The Role: As an MEP Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of infrastructure projects valued up to £50m. You'll oversee project schedules, monitor progress, and create recovery plans at various stages. You'll also provide essential technical support for Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), and Resource Loading. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and activities coordinated across teams. * Monitor critical activities, assess risks, and support schedule revisions as required. * Analyse contractor schedules, track project progress, and offer recommendations to the project team. * Manage contract programme evaluations, delay analyses, and compensation events. * Produce detailed reports on scheduling, staffing, and project quantities. What We’re Looking For: * Degree or post-graduate qualification in construction or a business-related field. * Minimum of three years' experience as a planner on projects over £10m. * Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and MS Excel. * Experience with infrastructure projects in live operational environments (desirable). * Solid understanding of NEC contracts, engineering, procurement, and construction processes. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Adaptability and resilience to manage ambiguity.
