We are currently working in partnership with an Educational Institution based in South West London, who are recruiting for a Admissions Administrator on a three week temporary contract. The position is due to start from the second week in September and hypothetically could go to full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up based upon experience.The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS and be a compassionate individual with extensive experience working within a school environment.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Responding to all email and telephone queries in a courteous and professional mannerSupporting the team to keep all documents relating to admissions up to date and in line with best practiceAssisting with the preparation for all assessment and interview days including managing the counting and distribution of exam papersOrganising invigilators for assessments, including confirming bookings, liaising and briefing and paymentManaging all visitor bookings and helping to organise and administer prospective parent and pupil eventsAttending admissions events and always acting as an ambassador for King’sExperience required:Excellent attention to detailDemonstrate excellent customer service experience and promotional skillsProven experience of handling sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy and with complete respect for confidentialitySkills, knowledge and expertise required:Be flexible and able to work as part of a team and have the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levelsBe a confident, assured communicator, both in written and verbal forms, able to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacyHave a proactive approach to planning and prioritising work, with the ability to use initiative appropriatelyBe a person of integrity, honesty, energy, stamina and enthusiasm, able to maintain a high work rate and to juggle a range of tasks and competing prioritiesHave a warm, personable and professional manner with an excellent work ethicRewards and Benefits:25 working days’ annual paid holiday plus statutory English public holidays Contributory support staff pension scheme – eligible to join after three months’ service Programme of health benefits Free lunch in the Dining Hall during term-time Subsidised membership of the King’s Sports Club Working hours:35 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
