Eden Scott are supporting a specialist engineering contractor to appoint a Tendering and Proposals Engineer to their commercial team in Aberdeen.
A market leader in their field, known for their innovative technologies, this specialist engineering service company delivers specialist tools and technology services to energy operators across global markets.
As a Tendering and Proposals Engineer you will prepare and manage bespoke budgeted quotes for engineered service sales and rental scopes. The role involves ensuring all activities align with approved commercial processes while maximising commercial opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate leads and prepare detailed technical proposals and cost budgets. Work with the technical team to define components and generate accurate pricing. Develop cash flow models, payment schedules, and risk reviews for proposals. Ensure compliance with commercial procedures and escalate issues as needed. Support project teams with commercial queries post-award.
It is desired that applicants hold a relevant degree, and essential applicants have experience in budget preparation within the energy industry, strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
