About You: Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong command of TypeScript and Node.js. Familiarity with Git version control, alongside experience in unit testing and test-driven development. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Desirable skills include experience with AWS, CI/CD, Redis caching, GraphQL, Jest or other unit testing frameworks, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Redis. Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to deliver a smooth, engaging user experience that enhances the customer journey. Optimise API performance for speed and scalability, ensuring seamless functionality across digital platforms. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, contributing actively in code reviews and upholding best practices.
