The role

We’re looking for a creative and organised designer to work on a variety of projects to support the ambitious growth of Live group and demonstrate our creativities and expertise in our work. You’ll be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and will keep a close eye on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.


Our events are virtual, in-person and hybrid, meaning the design work is in both digital and print format; you could be creating a wireframe for a website, (often using a template, though bespoke requests are not uncommon!), an email banner, a fancy stage set, a multi-page brochure, or a PowerPoint deck for an event speaker, or pitch.


You'll be keeping tab of the latest design trend and be excited about sharing your ideas taking responsibility for your work and explaining what you're thinking and why. You’ll know how to prioritise and get things done, seeking support from external freelancers/agencies when required, and ensuring deadlines are met.


Responsibilities


Creating high-quality digital and print design work according to the specific needs of our external and internal clients, using the relevant software. This could include but is not limited to:


  • Print design- venue branding; large- and small-scale print; multi-page brochures; wayfinding signage; stage sets; brochures. Digital design- website wireframe creation; banners; email design; webinar graphics; PowerPoint design.
  • UX and UI.
  • Proposals, tenders, and pitch documents.
  • Delivering on time, keeping the project team and line manager informed and up to date on progress, and flagging time constraints and bottle necks if/when they occur.
  • Manage project requests and log time spent to ensure design briefs are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work effectively with the Digital Team and streamline processes to ensure our products and workflows for designing client websites and apps are efficient and in-line with latest developments.
  • Keep up to date with latest event design trend and help ensure that, our design work remain innovative and top-notch in the industry
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure strict version control across projects. Manage and coordinate with external agency or partners to promptly address any urgent requests.
  • Support various design work for Live Group, from webpage design, marketing collaterals to sales brochures. Adhere closely to our brand guideline while maintaining creativity in your work.


About you

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Designer, ideally at an agency.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a particular focus on XD, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • PowerPoint DesignCinema 4D, Wordpress and Hubspot experience would be a bonus.
  • Be creative and desire to shape the design strategy for the business.
  • Ability and drive to learn quickly and ask questions and share your opinion.
  • Passion and dedication to deliver the highest quality work, whether routine or challenging.
  • Strong attention to details and a keen eye for aesthetics.
