We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scripting (Shell/Perl/JS) Developer with a strong background in Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on a variety of projects that require robust programming skills, a keen eye for debugging, and experience with distributed storage systems. Key Responsibilities - - Develop, test, and maintain scripts using Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript to automate tasks and processes across various projects. - Write and debug code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the scripts developed. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scripts into existing systems and workflows. - Leverage experience with distributed storage systems, including DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB, to optimize data handling and storage solutions. - Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automating code deployment using Git and related tools. - Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and integration of scripts within Unix/Linux environments. - Continuously improve existing codebases, ensuring best practices in coding and deployment are followed.

Required Qualifications - - Strong programming skills in Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript. - Hands-on experience with writing, testing, and debugging scripts for various applications. - Familiarity with distributed storage systems such as DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB. - Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with specific experience using Git for version control and deployment. - Solid experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications - - Experience in automating large-scale systems and managing distributed storage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex systems. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
