We're recruiting on the behalf of our client who area leading engineering and manufacturing business based out of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We have an immediate requirement to join this business who offer a relaxed and welcoming working envrionment, to join a team of expert people in their Barnsley office. The Person:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Motivated / Trustworthy / Effective Communicator.
  • Have worked as an Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger Assistant, Purchasing Administrator or similar role before.

The Role:

  • Organise incoming invoices
  • Answering telephone calls from suppliers
  • Respond to emails from suppliers
  • Process invoices using a purchase order processing 3-way matching system
  • Maintain the accounts payable ledger including applying cash and clearing debit balances
  • Distribute invoices electronically for authorisation checking nominal coding
  • File/ archive invoices using the Document Management System
  • Regular liaison with purchasing/ goods inwards teams
  • Reconcile supplier statement

This role is working Monday to Wednesday (24 hours per week) on a part time basis. The salary for this is 26,000 Pro Rata ( 16,635) per year. For more information contact Shaun Treacy at Questech Recruitment LTD.
