NRL are working with a fantastic client who now require a QHSE Advisor to join their team on a permanent staff basis.If you are qualified to a NEBOSH (cert), are willing to travel to other UK sites and have experience in ISO standards please read on and apply.You will...Assist to manage QHSE elements of operations across UK to help establish best practice and value for both HSE and maintenance processes as well as driving the Environmental agendaProvide advice and guidance to sites to assist them to manage all HSE risks, assisting to implement change and improvement where necessaryAssist the Senior QHSE Advisor to manage all required data and measurable accident and incident statistics to drive internal and statutory reportingAssist to ensure statutory compliance across all areas of the business by the provision of emergency procedures, welfare facilities, safety signs, relevant protective clothing, and equipment (PPE) etc.Assist to audit the QHSE performance of all Contractors to confirm suitable standards and quality are maintainedImplement and drive awareness of policies, processes and procedures at all sites to ensure a safe working environment including management of the company systemsManage and assist in auditing the companies compliance with all international ISO standards we are currently accredited to, includingISO 9001: 2015ISO 14001: 2015ISO 45011:2018Assist with input on QHSE matters and documents to support UK operational tender processes for new businessWork with Key business stakeholders on all HSE matters internally, both domestic and international, to drive best practice and reporting standardsLiaise with relevant external organisations (auditors etc) and regulatory bodies to ensure legislative compliance and awareness of legislative changesHelp conduct and assist to manage investigations on all HSE and reportable Incidents, working with Senior QHSE Advisor and Site operational teams to determine root causes, address issues and hold all areas of the business to accountBe one of the lead users and manage the Global Enterprise Management System (GEMS) online reporting system for the Fire UK operationSkills / QualificationsKey AttributesAdaptable self-starter with a positive, proactive approach, a natural curiosity, a willingness to learn and apply new skills and operating to the highest of personal standards and able to work on own initiativeDemonstrable experience within Health and Safety/Quality environments and ability to determine what good looks likeA recognised QHSE qualification to certificate level or higherAudit management experience preferredKnowledge of ISO9001:2005, ISO14001:2015 & ISO45001 & working with auditorsGood working knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislationProfessional and confident attitude to challenge established practices and intervene where unsafe behavioursare noted, to drive performance improvementsExperience of gathering and processing environmental and sustainability data for helping derive and achieve carbon reduction strategies, will be a positiveExperience of building relationships with both internal departments and client representativesFull UK driving licence and flexibility to travel UK wide as required by the businessExcellent listening, written and oral communication skillsExcellent IT skills across relevant software and Office product rangeStrong time management/prioritisation skills self-confident, diplomatic but firm under pressureAbility to deal with sensitive & confidential matters as necessary
