Role: IT Manager
Location: Walsall
Salary: £50,000 DOE
We are working with a leading shipping and logistics provider who are looking for an IT Manager to join their expanding team in a new and exciting role where you will be at the forefront of all technical decisions.
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and security across all digital systems.
Our client are currently going through an exciting digital overhaul where you will be tasked with developing and implementing a new internal IT infrastructure looking to bring all functions in house
You will play a key role in leading IT projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing technology solutions that enhance business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of IT systems, networks, and servers
- Consult board members on project and new system rollouts
- Lead IT projects (infrastructure, deployment of new IT systems)
- Provide leadership in all aspects of IT delivery and IT strategy
- Maintain security of data, backup systems and network access
- Manage annual IT budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness
- Responsibility of IT requirements across the company
- Provide technical support and training to staff across multiple departments
- Maintain working relationships with external vendors
