Software Engineer

Software Developer (C# / Python / API) – 6-Month Contract Contract Length : 6 months (with potential extension) Day Rate : £275 per day (Outside IR35) Location : Remote (UK) Start Date : ASAP We are seeking an experienced Software Developer for a 6-month contract to join a fast-paced project starting immediately. If you have strong skills in C# , Python , and working with APIs (OpenAPI standard), this could be the ideal role for you. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on a React front-end application , integrating it with a back-end API that follows the OpenAPI standard . Modify and enhance existing commands and endpoints, ensuring the smooth flow of data between the front-end and back-end systems. Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality, with a focus on C# development. Build and maintain API endpoints and troubleshoot any issues with the server-side application. Use your expertise in C# and Python to write efficient, scalable code for the project. What You’ll Need: Proficiency in C# and Python , with a strong understanding of writing and maintaining code in both languages. Experience working with APIs and reading API documentation, ideally with exposure to the OpenAPI standard . Unit testing experience, particularly in C# , ensuring high standards of code quality. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, meeting deadlines and communicating effectively with the wider team. Desirable Skills: Experience with React or other front-end technologies. Hands-on experience building and interacting with API endpoints. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
