About the role The role of a HLTA is vital in the day-to-day running of schools. The best HLTA's  have excellent communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, quickly and effectively. You will be in class to manage behaviour, support with interventions, and ensure pupils are following the work set by the class Teacher. Requirements To be considered for the role of a HLTA you will: Have relevant trainign or experience as a HLTA Have previous SEN experience Have an excellent understanding of how children learn Motivate and inspire children Have a positive working attitude and committed to continually improve teaching practice Be organised, punctual and adaptable Be committed to inclusion and equity Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
