Senior Health and Safety Construction ConsultantOur OpportunityAre you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking to make a positive impact within a growing, innovative consultancy?Are you passionate about driving health and safety practices forward?  Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Principal Designer/Senior Health and Safety Construction Consultant to lead and shape a diverse range of projects within the West Midlands. This is a unique opportunity to grow a team within the West Midlands and drive forward our offering in Health and Safety. Our excellent teams work on a wide variety of schemes as part of a multi-disciplinary practice, delivering principal designer and CDM services for a growing list of clients. As a senior member of the team, you will be able to add real value and impact within the business. A huge part of the role is delivering services to our clients with the help of your expert knowledge. You will be contributing to business development, ultimately being the driving force in helping move the discipline forward within the industry.Within the role, you will be in full control and have ownership over your projects; providing you with a great level of autonomy. You’ll become part of a business with an excellent reputation in the industry for client care and quality with a diverse range of industry experts for you to collaborate with and learn from. Apply now. Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at PickEverard - Pick EverardAbout YouOur ideal Senior Health and Safety Consultant must have:  Comprehensive knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015 Practical experience in managing or providing dedicated CDM / H&S advisor services/role Experience in either construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying etc.)  NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety preferred (or equivalent) A desire to lead and undertake business development, in a key role within the region Experience of growing a team and line management It would be nice for you to have: Professional qualification in a construction, engineering, building surveying or building services discipline  Recognised membership of a proven Health & Safety organisation Achieved/Working Towards: NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, NVQ L5.
