Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Customer Delivery and Installation Driver Location: CumbernauldCompany: Leading Consumer Electronics RetailerSalary: £13 ph Full time hours available Job Overview: We are currently recruiting 7.5 Tonne Drivers for ongoing full-time work until January, as part of the Christmas rush. Based out of our Cumbernauld depot, you'll play a key role in delivering, installing, and collecting consumer electronics to our customers' homes. With the support of a driver's mate, you'll ensure products like white goods, televisions, and cookers are delivered safely and efficiently, offering any-room delivery to meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Safely deliver, install, and collect a wide range of electronic products to customers' homes, ensuring top-quality service. Manual handling is expected, including lifting and moving large items like washing machines and cookers, with assistance from your driver's mate. Provide any-room delivery service, ensuring items are set up exactly where the customer wants them and functioning properly. Maintain excellent customer service, representing the company as a trusted and professional brand ambassador. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure safe handling, driving, and installation. Keep accurate records of deliveries, collections, and installations. What We're Looking For: Full UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne (C1) entitlement. Valid CPC Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual work as part of a two-person delivery team. Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly attitude. Prior experience in a delivery or customer-facing role is desirable. Strong understanding of health and safety guidelines.
