Your role will have a large impact, as the technology you develop will be used to protect people, facilities, and assets, at scale – around the world.What you will doTechnical customer support by telephone, remote connection and on-site, if necessary, about CEM AC2000 Systems range of Access control products and integrations.Logging and keeping detailed records of support casesPrioritizing and managing open casesTalking clients through a series of actions to help set up systems or resolve issuesTroubleshooting system and diagnosing and solving CEM hardware or software faultsInstalling and configuring CEM AC2000 software applications & hardwareWriting technical Troubleshooting guides, user guides & product release notesDelivering technical product training on hardware or software applicationsWhat we look forEssential Degree in Computer Science or related subject or relevant industrial work experience.Excellent technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills, the ability to make sound technical judgments based on knowledge and experienceUnderstanding of Linux including shell scriptsUnderstanding of SQL Experience with Networking and troubleshooting servers/client machinesExperience of Virtual Platforms including Guest OS Installation Experience installing and supporting Windows applications Self-motivated to manage your own time independently and must be able to work as part of a team.Willingness to travelDesirableExperience in a customer-facing technical support environmentExperience in supporting custom software applicationsExperience working within the Electronic Security industry - understanding of Access control, CCTV, DVR, Intercoms & Intruder systemsProficiency in any other European language#LI-Hybrid#LI-MO1
