Quality Assurance Technician

Come and join us as a Quality Assurance Technician at our Hartlebury site in Kidderminster! Our factory at Hartlebury specialises in manufacturing materialsfor the house building/construction industry. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of our inhouse technical team who make sure the product we produce meets our standards. Youll be performing quality checks on our processes and on our final product, taking samples and investigating issues to ensure we produce the best quality bricks in the most efficient way. Your work will help us to meet various quality standards (such as ISO 9001 Quality Assurance, and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System) Duties include: Process controls (such as sampling and compliance testing) Production improvement processes Completing documentation for controls and traceability Conducting quality assurance audit process Develop and improve quality procedures Training of colleagues on quality/best practice We will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to make sure you can work safely and effectively. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm About You You will have experience working in a manufacturing environment where you get hands-on and ensure the factory operates safely and produces quality end products. Safety is our biggest priority, so youll be committed to safe working and have strong experience of health and safety best practice. You will either have experience in quality assurance activities, or you will have a keen interest in developing your career in the QA field. Youll also have: Knowledge of techniques for improving processes Experience of product quality standards and process control procedures Keen to develop your skills and experience Strong team playing skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Computer literacy and confidence using IT systems (such as Word, Outlook, Teams) Experience of ISO 9001 is desirable but not essential About our Benefits Annual average salary up to £26,000 (depending on experience) Annual bonus scheme up to 4% Ability to purchase additional holidays Company Pension SIP ability to become a shareholder via our Share Scheme Life Assurance Flexible benefits offering (including health, wellbeing and money saving opportunities) Who are we?
