We have nearly 7,000 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in Wiltshire, Somerset and Bath and North-East Somerset and employ over 300 staff from our offices in Trowbridge and Melksham.The roleWe are looking for an experienced Compliance surveyor to join us on a fixed term contract for 16 months. This is an excellent opportunity to have a measurable impact across the business, ensuring our properties are safe and maintained to the highest standard. As a Compliance project surveyor, you'll oversee the delivery of a variety of programmes across numerous core areas, including fire safety, water, legionella, asbestos, lifts, and gas. The one exception will be mechanical and electrical, which will not be part of this role.Collaboration and communication are key to success in this position. Liaising with numerous teams, both internal and external, you'll manage contracts, chair regular progress meetings, and provide advice on programme quality, design and costs.Personal development is of huge importance at Selwood Housing.
