YOU can be a part of our legacy … What will I be doing? Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester is offering the challenging, but exciting opportunity to join our Out of Production Spares team. This role will be responsible for generating and managing detailed schedules in respect with the Master Production Schedule. You will participate in the MPS meetings and work with our various departments to reflect this detail in the ERP system. The Shop Floor Scheduler will run and maintain Load and Capacity reports and analysis for the production leaders to identify capacity issues and allocate priorities accordingly. The role is responsible for reviewing the work order scheduling messages against MRP recommendations and for integrating the impact of Non quality and FAI,s into order schedules accordingly . Candidate skills & requirements: Knowledge of Production planning fundamentals (MRP2 principles, e.g. APICS) Knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement tools (LEAN) Familiar with ERP usage and have a working Knowledge of Production process flows Knowledge of Production process flow Knowledge of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty's Quality System Ability with office software Leadership Team-working Results-oriented Communication skills Decision-making Self-motivated Interpersonal skills (including working effectively with others and influencing skills) Adaptability (able to respond flexibly to changing circumstances, aligns own actions with the changing needs of the business) What's my next step?
