SEND Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities: Provide support and assistance to students with SEND particularly SEMH.Assist in the implementations of EHCP's.Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students' academic and personal development.Providing the young persons with opportunities for life long learning, growing independence and to be valued members of society. Requirements: Relevant experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, and associated difficulties is desirable.Delivering engaging activities to pupils in small groups.A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.Enhanced DBS.Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.Available to work 5 days per week (8:30-15:30) term time.
