Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children within a residential setting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Residential Care Workers, ensuring the best outcomes for the children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of the children.
  • Participate in and oversee daily routines, activities, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Ensure all records and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children/students within the last 5 years.
  • Qualifications: Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care for Senior positions.
  • We do not accept applications from healthcare workers in the adult sector unless you have experience working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage challenging situations with resilience and compassion.

Shift Pattern:

  • 2 days on duty followed by 2 sleep-ins and 4 days off.
  • 3-weekly rota to be discussed during the interview.

Training and Induction:

  • A comprehensive induction training week will be held at one of our offices in Cannock or Croydon. Accommodation, food, and travel expenses will be covered.
