Are you a strategic seller with a background in Services? Do you know how to nurutre sales from start to finish? Baines Simmons are seeking an Senior Account Manager to be based in their friendly Bracknell office. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with proven success in selling services to excel. Working predominantly within the aviation industry, you will be responsible for driving In-Company training services to our clients across Key Accounts and Individual territory. We are looking for someone with extensive experience creating and managing pipeline whilst achieving revenue and profitability in accordance with personal targets to existing and new clients.To be effective in this role, you must be motivated to find the right solution for your clients and want to develop trust and long-term relationships that generate quality revenues. You should enjoy proactive prospecting, be an effective communicator and relationship builder and possess excellent proposal writing skills. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical consultants to identify the best solution to meet client needs, ensuring that Baines Simmons continues to be regarded as a trusted advisor and a market leader within Aviation Safety Management.Team Structure The Business Development and Sales department has three core areas: In-company training; Academy training and Consultancy and Large Programmes (C&LP). This role is part of the In-company training team and will report to the Head of Sales and Business Development.You Will:Achieve personal sales revenue target at required margin levelIdentify new opportunities from regulatory changes and market intelligence, engaging with clients to identify how our services can support their strategic goalsDemonstrate credibility when interacting with stakeholders of all levelsWork with our consultants and the Products team to respond to all client enquiries with the most appropriate training solutionWrite proposals that accurately reflect the needs of the client and the benefits of our proposed solutionManage all enquiries and activities correctly in the CRM to enable accurate reporting and forecastingRepresent Baines Simmons at relevant industry eventsEnsure our terms of business are consistently appliedAbout you:Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ business development experience in a services environment with a proven track record of generating Account Management and new revenue growth.You must be able to work independently and also enjoy working collaboratively as part of a broader team.Good understanding of business strategy with strong commercial analysis and negotiation skills.
