We are recruiting for the following specialisms; Electrical Installation Fabrication & Welding (Doncaster College) Engineering (North Lindsey College - Scunthorpe) Refrigeration/Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HESTA - Hull)Job Purpose: As a Technician Instructor, you will play a vital role in our mission to enhance the learner experience. You will work closely with curriculum staff to supervise and support learners in workshops and practical teaching areas, ensuring they receive the guidance needed to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with curriculum staff to support and supervise learners, providing pre and on-course guidance. Undertake necessary planning, preparation, and assessment to meet external body requirements. Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and progress. Attend team meetings and contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development initiatives. Participate in marketing activities to promote the department and recruit students. Ensure equipment is safe and well-maintained, conducting regular safety inspections and stocktaking. Demonstrate practical techniques to learner groups and provide a comprehensive range of specialist services.Development Opportunities: This role is not just a job; it's a pathway to professional growth. Ability to maintain and prepare teaching resources, conduct safety inspections, and carry out routine maintenance. Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
