Lead BankFast Engineer
For one of our major fintec clients I am looking for a Lead Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in implementing Sandstone Technology's BankFast eXperience Platform (BXP). The chosen candidate will take a crucial role in the architecture, integration, and deployment of BXP, ensuring the platform aligns with our strategic goals. This position demands strong expertise in digital banking platforms, technical leadership, and the ability to work effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Implementation Projects: Manage all stages of BXP implementation, from requirements analysis to deployment and ongoing support.
- Solution Architecture: Design secure, scalable solutions using the BXP framework to ensure optimal performance in line with our business objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of engineers, promoting innovation and collaboration to achieve successful project delivery.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate BXP with existing banking systems and third-party applications to maintain data integrity and transaction security.
- Customization: Adapt the BXP platform to meet specific business needs, including the development of custom features and components.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform delivers an exceptional user experience.
- Quality Assurance: Apply best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality outputs with minimal errors.
- Problem Solving: Resolve technical challenges during and after implementation to ensure smooth user interactions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, covering system architecture, configurations, and operational guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Sandstone Technology's advancements and other digital banking platforms to suggest enhancements and keep our solutions current.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years working with Sandstone Technology's BXP.
- Proven success in leading technical teams and executing digital banking projects.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Angular, React).
- Expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Extensive experience customizing and integrating Sandstone Technology’s BXP.
Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with digital banking platforms, including customer onboarding, loan origination, and other BXP-related financial products.
Leadership: Ability to lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading Agile teams.
Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other digital banking technologies and platforms.
- Certification or formal training in Sandstone Technology products.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in the digital banking space.
