CNC Programmer

Job Title: Cutting Operations and Press Brake Programmer

Location: Sheffield, S4 8BT

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Program CNC machines (3D Waterjet, Flame cutting, Press Brake)
• Support sales team with order confirmations and technical feedback
• Optimise production efficiency through nesting and time planning
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
• Manage job orders, process scheduling, and identify production improvements

• Requirements:

  • Strong Maths and English skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with CAD, reading and producing technical drawings
  • Programming experience with cutting machines (Laser, Flame, Waterjet) and press brakes
  • Preferred experience with SolidWorks and specific software (Bystronic, Trumpf, Water jet Sweden).
