General Manager Restaurant & Bar

We are currently recruiting for a General Manager Restaurant & Bar for a new independently owned, 'all day dining' Restaurant & Bar, serving a range of freshly prepared, small plates and tapas, that will be opening in the heart of Stratford in mid November. The restaurant will seat 40 approximately covers inside, including a 10 seater mezzanine level, plus a 30-seat outdoor terrace. The restaurant will open 7 days a week between 12pm and 11pm. Our client is therefore looking to recruit an experienced General Manager Restaurant & Bar, ideally with 'openings experience', who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive background, to their current role of General Manager Restaurant & Bar, gained in small plates, tapas style restaurant and bar operations. This is most definitely a 'hands-on', face of the business role, reporting directly to the company founders, and will be responsible for managing a team of 12/15 full and part time staff.
