We are currently working with an independant UK Asset & Facilities Management Consultancy, who are looking to appoint a Senior Consultant to act as an Associate Director in the business, as part of the senior leadership team. The role will be hybrid based between home and an office in Leeds or Leicester, along with occasional visits to sites as and when required The role: As an associate director, you will have two main functions in the role. First, you will support the operational delivery of the business as a senior consultant who leads the projects assigned to you. Second, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and share the responsibility with your fellow SLT members for implementing the business strategy successfully. The role involves managing and delivering projects on a daily basis, ensuring the business meets the client's expectations and fosters growth through long-term commercial relationships. Experience & Skills required: * Experience in delivery of simultaneous FM Consultancy projects * FM operational and commercial experience * Knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within the Healthcare sector, or PFI at the very least * Managing and growing a team * Strong MS Word and Excel capability Main Duties: * Fulfil your separate leadership roles and responsibilities as required to ensure implementation of the business strategy. * Deliver consultancy projects, inc. project, programme, resource, risk, cost, and time management. Write up consultancy project reports for clients. Manage support provided by internal and external Consultants/Associates when required. * Ensure client needs and expectations are met and satisfied. * To provide technical advice and writing input to support bid and tender presentations * To ensure that appropriate information and data is gathered from key stakeholders and clients * To meet with clients to review project progress and milestones, discuss issues, update on costs, highlight risks, advise on compliance, develop technical solutions, and assume ownership of key actions. * Assume a key role in shaping the team for the future as well as coaching and development of key individuals. * To develop, in conjunction with fellow SLT members, key relationships and ensure that the business proposition is well understood and articulated. * In consultation with the leadership team, develop and administer a staff performance reporting mechanisms across the business to support individual and business growth. * In consultation with leadership, implement and manage OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) * To maintain regular and pro-active dialogue with consultants to understand their availability, commitments and to allocate and coordinate resource as necessary for projects * To identify collaborative arrangements and partnership working opportunities to enhance company reputation * To ensure adherence to company standards of “excellence” in working as well as ISO accreditation * To network actively and build connections within specific sectors * To ensure that company resource and infra-structure is able to support growth * To contribute to the development of industry and sector best practice
