Instrument and Electrical Maintenance roles

We have excellent immediate INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE opportunities, based on the Sellafield Site in West Cumbria. The successful Candidates will be performing routine maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems. You will also carry out project work, breakdown repairs and safe isolations. THE IDEAL CANDIDATES Essential Criteria: Time served Instrument Mechanic or Electrician with instrument experience, holding recognised apprenticeship (e.g. NVQ level 3 Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent). Able to understand single-line electrical drawings, instructions and manuals. Proficient in English and Maths. Self-motivated, driven and resilient. Able to make correct and informed decisions under pressure. Evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy and resilience. Required to become Appointed as a Nominated Person Desirable Criteria: Demonstrate knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance requirements associated with their area. Knowledge of maintenance programmes and company standards/industry best practice. IOSHH Working Safely. WORKING HOURS Our Client is currently piloting a 4-day work pattern. This work pattern is designed to provide Workers with greater flexibility, which in turn supports their work-life balance while maintaining Company standards of service. SECURITY CLEARANCE Security Clearance is essential for these roles. Candidates must be eligible for Security clearance, if not already held.
