Do you have a strong business development background for a service provider that involves Business to Business consultative sales? Are you solutions oriented, live within a commutable distance of Bracknell and do you want to help grow a company that really makes a difference? If so, look no further, as Kenyon International, part of the Air Partner Group and Leaders in Emergency Response, Crisis Management and Incident Response, are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Bracknell based team. You will work with the Managing Director and Head of Commercial to identify new growth opportunities and form strategic partnerships that open up new markets as well as nurturing existing relationships, handling renewals and up / cross selling. In addition, you will focus on identifying leads, researching and developing them through the full sales cycle.Due to the nature of our business, you may be required to work within the Kenyon Crisis Management Centre and support during deployments, which may require additional or weekend hours, although this position is normally standard office hours, Monday to Friday. What we are looking for: At least 3 years’ demonstrable success growing revenue from existing client base and through new client acquisition in a target driven Business Development Management role for a service provider, using consultative selling and relationship building skills. Experience researching potential accounts, identifying key players and developing inroads to generate interest.Experience driving sales and building new and productive relationships with customers / potential customers through inbound and outbound sales activity. Experience preparing and conducting briefings for current and prospective clients. Experience developing sales opportunities, converting pipeline prospects into sales and negotiating terms and pricing with potential clients to secure new contracts for services and consultancy / training agreements. Experience preparing/submitting client tenders and presenting professionally and confidentlyExperience executing formal commercial documents including proposals, work agreements, contracts, invoicing and credit control.Excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience in renewals and tender execution.Examples of identifying opportunities / developing business cases for new service offerings. Experience of conducting market research to actively seek out and identify selling and upselling opportunities and trends, as well as competitor initiatives. Experience of assisting to build and collate analytics and metrics to further develop initiatives based on client / market feedback. Experience of collaborating with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies to provide holistic customer experiences. Experience of staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay competitive and adapt strategies accordingly. Experience overseeing attendance at appropriate industry events and providing assistance to conferences, symposiums and meetings for commercial activities.Experience maintaining communication with Lead organisations and attending trade shows. Experience assisting with developing the business commercial cycle.A business management educational background preferred An ability to build and maintain excellent multi-variable client relationships. Commercial acumen, foresight and an innovative instinct, able to adapt quickly to change. An ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision, and the application of good analytical, planning and interpersonal skills (team player, proactive, and assertive). An ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally for the role Ability to produce worksheets, documents and presentations using Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint with a high standard of both written and spoken English. Experience of using a CRM system (Salesforce desirable) to maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and prospects to support all sales activity.An ability and willingness to flex working hours during incidents. An understanding of crisis management, emergency planning or business continuity desirable but not mandated.
