Legal Counsel – Private Credit, London

Our client is on one of the leading investment managers in the world, with its oirgins and headquarters based in New York. At the forefront of using technology to co-ordinate its investments, the company has grown to over $50Billion in AUM.


With constant growth, particularly within private credit, the firm is seeking to hire a solicitor within its London office to work alongside the Private Credit investments team. This is a cutting edge area of investments, working alongside some of the leading names in the market. You will be advising on a range of structured private credit arrangements, including synthetic risk transfer (SRTs), mezzanine, uni-tranche and other debt structuring. You will additionally be responsible for negotiating and executing deals and providing post completion support.


Candidate Requirements:

  • You will be a qualified solicitor in the UK with at least 6 years’ PQE in structured debt and / or private credit at a law firm, asset management company or investment bank
  • An exceptional and impressive academic background with excellent legal training, professional achievements and strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, multi project and dynamic environment.
