Join Our Team at Bike Assist Legal - PI Fast Track Litigation Executive (Litigation) Bike Assist Legal, a prominent motorcycle personal injury specialist, is currently seeking an experienced and proactive PI Fast Track Litigation Executive (Litigation) to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in dealing with litigated Fast Track Personal Injury claims, possess extensive knowledge of CPR and pre-action protocols, and thrive in a target-oriented environment, this role is an exciting opportunity for you. Role Purpose: As a PI Fast Track Litigation Executive (Litigation), you will manage a caseload of (Apply online only) Litigated Fast Track Personal Injury Claims, ensuring adherence to the firm's internal processes and procedures. Your primary focus will be on efficient claims handling, client care, and contributing to individual and team fee income targets. Responsibilities: Claims Handling: * Reviewing new files from Claims Portal/Hybrid Teams and/or Fast Track Pre-Litigation Team within 48 hours. * Running through a system checklist to maximize litigation potential and return non-compliant files. * Conducting an introductory call to clients within 48 hours of file receipt. * Handling correspondence and calls within firm SLA’s. * Advising clients on liability, potential split settlements, and investigating liability with necessary reports. * Managing the medical process, including instructing medical agencies, identifying medical experts, and requesting nominations. * Reviewing and collating additional Special Damages documentation and further medical evidence. * Obtaining client approval for calculations supporting Special Damages. * Making Part 36 Offers, preparing and drafting legal proceedings, and ensuring compliance with Court Directions. * Attending court hearings and instructing Barristers as needed. * Ensuring timely updates to clients and chasing down costs on settled files. * Referring client complaints to Team Leader promptly. Communication: * Ensuring efficient communication for strong client and third-party relationships. * Using the telephone as the primary source of communication. Development and Coaching: * Attending weekly team meetings, organized training sessions, and bi-monthly 121s with Team Leader/Manager/Supervising Solicitor. * Participating in the firm’s quarterly face-to-face Training Days. Compliance: * Conducting periodic file reviews in line with client requirements and firm SLA’s. * Updating reports as required. * Completing 180-day pre-Limitation reviews on all files. Knowledge & Experience: * Minimum of two years' previous fee-earning experience dealing with litigated Fast Track Personal Injury claims. * Extensive working knowledge of the CPR and relevant pre-action protocols. * Competent working with case management systems (ideally Proclaim) and good knowledge of MS Office. * Excellent negotiation and communication skills. * Strong decision-maker with the ability to work independently under pressure. * Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills. * Ability to explain complex information simply and handle emotive customer situations.
