Java Software Engineer

We are partnered up with a Tier one bank, looking to hire mid level engineers.

?? Salary:

Up to £75k + 10% benefit pot

?? Location: Central London (2/3 office days a week)

?? The role

You’ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high

performance, secure and robust solutions.

You’ll be:

Working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software,

scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and

business analysts across the platform

? Must have requirements:

• You’ll need a background in software engineering and software design, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
• Building applications in Java, ideally as microservices
• Building quality into the applications that you create and being able to evidence this usually with exposure to Test Driven Development or similar practises
• Software development best practices, especially around security, containerisation, scaling and resilience
