Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sports Massage Therapist at Amazing Thai Therapy Ltd located in Greater London. The Sports Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing therapeutic massages,

A sports massage therapist is a professional who uses massage techniques to treat and care for athletes who are suffering injuries or pain. They work with their clients on rehabilitation processes, aiming to reduce pain, inflammation, long-term impact, discomfort or the risk of injuries occurring again.

Sports massage differs from regular massage in that it focuses on specific muscles or areas affected by a particular activity. Therapists help clients with a variety of goals, including: 

• Injury prevention and recovery: Sports massage can help reduce the risk of injury and aid in recovery.  
• Pain and inflammation relief: Sports massage can help alleviate pain and inflammation.  
• Performance improvement: Sports massage can help improve performance.  
• Stress and anxiety relief: Sports massage can help relieve stress and anxiety.  
• Mental preparation: Sports massage can help athletes mentally prepare for competition.

Requirements

• Customer Service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Certification or Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy or related field
• Previous experience in this or a similar role
