Reporting directly into the divisional CTO, we are seeking a Telecoms Network Specialist with experience of configuring and operating test networks in a telecommunications environment. Beyond the lab, you will spend time with network operators, working with them on product integration scenarios and helping to shape the product roadmap. Key Responsibilities Maintain our network test environment: Q&A, Test systems / Networks Traffic generators and test set-up OLT simulators and a variety of vendor’s OLT solutions Netconf & yang models Network services including Q-in-Q, QoS, IGMP, DHCP Relay Agents, TR069, SNMP etc Work with application servers including: GenieACS and similar TiBIT MCMS and other software defined environments Network orchestration and configuration such as Kubernetes Border network gateways 3+ years of experience: Ideally within broadband operators Hardware vendor experience also relevant Operator access networks using Q-in-Q VLANs, QoS, etc Understanding of IPv4, IPv6 Services (DHCP Server, DNS, Radvd, ssh, smpd, wget, tftp, etc.) Proficiency in Traffic generators and test set-up OLT simulators and a variety of vendor’s OLT solutions Netconf & yang models Network services including multicast models, DHCP Relay Agents, TR069, SNMP etc Curiosity and enjoyment in working within a creative team of specialists Primarily remote and based in the UK Occasional travel for face-to-face meetings with colleagues and customers may be required
