DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer, Leeds/Manchester, £60,000

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for cloud infrastructure and a proven track record in scaling applications, we want to hear from you!

Key Skills, Experience & Expertise:

• Previous working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly:
• CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, ECR, VPC, RDS, EventBridge & CloudWatch
• Demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Working knowledge of bash, Python, and PHP
• Solid practical knowledge and experience with Docker and Docker Swarm
• Experience with monitoring and alerting toolchains, particularly Grafana and Prometheus
• Web server configuration expertise for Apache & Nginx
• Experience running applications at scale, with a focus on horizontally scaled and distributed systems
• Previous working experience with Continuous Integration (CI) Services, ideally GitHub Actions
• Excellent understanding of Jira, sprints, Kanban, and workload planning

Desirable Experience:

• AWS certifications are desirable but not mandatory
