In this role, you will contribute to analysing the social, environmental, and economic impacts of emerging technologies across various sectors, including mobility and urban development. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is leading innovative research and providing insights into the effects of cutting-edge products, services, and technologies, with a strong emphasis on decarbonization and social well-being.The ideal candidate will have a passion for conducting thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis throughout different stages of project lifecycles, from securing funding to supporting feasibility studies, pilot projects, and large-scale trials.As a member of the Business Case & Impact Assessment Team, you will collaborate on multidisciplinary projects involving engineers, data scientists, planners, software developers, environmental experts, social researchers, designers, and a wide range of external partners.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Skills and Experience requiredDegree in economics or similar.Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to present complex analysis in clear, high-quality written reports.Experience with the UK's ‘Green Book’ and ‘Magenta Book’ for evaluation.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Core ResponsibilitiesConduct economic impact analysis on various innovations.Design Impact Assessment Work Packages and collaborate with diverse teams.Apply social value economics evaluation and appraisal techniques.Perform impact mapping, data analysis, and research to meet project needs.Produce reports, analysis, and case studies for dissemination.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Benefits9 day fortnight for everyone, we have a full company shutdown every other Friday23.5 holiday entitlement for everyone, with pro-rata calculations for part-time employees, along with a Christmas shutdown period for additional days offCompetitive pension, up to 10% company contribution to help you save for your futureTwo paid days of volunteering leave per year (pro-rata for part-time employees) to support charitable activitiesWork abroad 2 weeks 3 times a yearAnd much more!
