Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Chorley, Preston Sectors: Commercial, Housing Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive (Based on experience) Experience Required: Commercial, Construction, Housing Associations. About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients growing team. The projects involved are the construction of apartments and housing mainly working with housing associations, and the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing residential projects. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing bills and schedules for materials, labor, and services * Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project, including, scheduling, budgeting, and client liaison. * Cost reporting and valuation * Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards on-site. * Liaise with the Housing Association client, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or changes. * Agreeing and producing final accounts * Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and efficiencies are maximised. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential schemes, particularly with housing associations. * Ability to manage complex projects, overseeing multiple costings and ensuring timely delivery. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. * Strong commercial awareness with the ability to control budgets and manage costs effectively. * Degree or equivalent qualification What We Offer: * Competitive salary, based on experience. * long-term projects with a healthy order book going forward. * A supportive work environment with opportunities for career progression
