Senior Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript / React / AWS) - Outside IR35 - Manchester (Remote First) - Immediate Start

Duration: Initial contract to December 2024, with potential for long-term work in 2025

About the Project: We are looking for talented Senior Fullstack Engineers to support the integration of innovative AI-driven features into a global platform used by over 20,000 employees worldwide.

This exciting project involves migrating features from an internal AI efficiency tool to a much more advanced framework, empowering users with cutting-edge media creation and office efficiency tools.

You'll be part of a small team, taking ownership of this exciting new product - so being a self starter who loves solving problems is important.

This platform has huge potential, so the ideal person will be someone who is looking at the long term scalability and how this product can evolve in the future.

Core Responsibilities::

• Work closely with engineering teams to implement features into a global platform
• Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to develop and integrate AI-driven features
• Develop robust, scalable, and efficient fullstack solutions using modern technologies
• Ensure high-quality code through continuous integration, testing, and code reviews
• Maintain high engineering standards, following best practices in software development and cloud architecture

Ideal skills / background:

Backend:

• Typescript (Required)
• AWS Lambda (Required)
• Microservices Architecture (Required)
• API Gateway (Required)
• Serverless Architectures (Required)
• S3 (Required)
• Document Databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, or ElasticSearch (Required)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Serverless Framework, CloudFormation, Terraform)

Frontend:

• Typescript (Required)
• React (Required)
• HTML (Required)
• CSS (Required)
• Experience with MicroFrontends, Zustand/Redux, RxJS, React Router, and design systems (Material-UI, Ant Design, etc.)

General:

• Git (Required)
• Jest (Required)
• Continuous Integration (Required)
• Experience with Playwright/Cypress, Monorepos, GitHub Actions, and Continuous Deployment
• Familiarity with AI model APIs (OpenAI, Google Gemini or similar)

Ideal Profile / background:

• Proven experience as a senior-level Fullstack Engineer
• Self-starter who can manage their own work with minimal oversight
• Ability to work in an agile environment, continuously driving improvements in processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with AI models is a huge plus!
