SQL Data Scientist

One of our tier 1 hedge fund clients are looking to add a (Senior) Data Scientist to the London office as part of their Equities Fund. You will be working alongside the investment and research teams to generate new insights, drive ML and advanced analytics, and work with the research team towards generating sustained alpha. Coordinate with investment teams to comprehend their investment methodologies and leverage data to augment their research processes. Support investment teams in identifying key data drivers impacting companies and sectors. Analyze data from various sources to validate complex investment hypotheses. Efficiently process data, identify critical points, and assess data relevance to investment inquiries. Advanced knowledge and experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy + more) and SQL Experience working with large, unstructured data sets
