Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Monday – Friday Days £40,000 - £45,000 Wolverhampton The Role: The Cast Supervisor in the Foundry department will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of production personnel. This includes coordinating workflow, monitoring the performance of team members, ensuring that safety protocols and quality standards are met, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the casting process. The supervisor will also work closely with other departments to ensure efficient production schedules, maintain equipment, and optimize resource allocation to meet production targets. Additionally, they will be responsible for providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a safe and productive work environment What will you be doing? * To maintain cast/foundry efficiency at all times. * Overall responsibility for designated areas and all cast personnel * Responsible for stock control and replenishment of consumables * To provide additional support and/or temporary replacement of appropriate management staff / production personnel. * Responsible for first line disciplinary and grievance issues. * A basic level of ability to use figures / numeracy equal to the use of Mfg. Pro. * Initiation and instigation of training regimes around all aspects of the Casting facility including test sampling. * To understand the requirements of the Duty of Care regulations for Waste Management, and to understand the importance of satisfactory completing the Waste Transfer documentation. * Ability to work with the Team Leaders but with emphasis on motivation and focus of the team on achievement of results What will you bring to the party? * 5 Years Foundry Experience (D.H.P Copper Production advantageous) * 3 years Supervisory Experience * GCSE Level or Equivalent E.G.
