Role: Windows & Doors (Technical Assessor) Location: Remote, UK coverage We are currently looking an experienced engineer with practical testing experience in Fenestration ideally in a Testing Lab within an ISO/IEC 17025 environment to become our go to external technical assessor. Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in Windows and Doors covering areas such as: Construction Basic & Enhanced Security Weathertightness Door Furniture Industrial and Garage Doors (General, dynamic forces methods & wind loading Key skills: Detailed technical expertise in physical, mechanical and security testing, Have a technical qualification in a mechanical or civil engineering discipline. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Full training will be provided for to become an Assessor in Report Writing to UKAS requirements offering ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standard awareness and UKAS systems training.
