Senior Quantity Surveyor (Bespoke Joinery)

My client is a large high spec fit out joinery business and are one of the most renowned companies for their line of work in the UK. They work across super prime hotels, residences and world class commercial/entertainment facilities. Due to a series of new project wins, my client is now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on one of these schemes. The Project My client have a number of projects which they will discuss at interview stage including: * £30m Hotel Fit Out, Mayfair * £20m Commercial Fit Out, Liverpool Street * £100m Hotel Fit Out - Mayfair The Role * Managing Junior Surveyors * Liaison with the Client’s and Consultants’ teams to ensure information is obtained and implemented in due time; advising the client on the value engineering options; carrying out risk analysis * Establishing and maintaining procurement strategy for projects, executing procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors * Preparation and agreeing monthly valuations with client; ensuring that all variations are priced, submitted and agreed. * Forecasting of costs; preparation and reporting cash flows and CVRs * Monitoring planned and actual programmes and assessing implications of programme changes. * Checking and authorising suppliers’ invoices and sub-contractors’ applications for payments; negotiating and settling sub-contractors’ accounts. * Agreeing final accounts * Preparing and negotiating EoT / Loss and Expense Claims; helping to prepare the documents for defending claims in adjudication.
