Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance Assistant Location: Victoria, Hybrid working Hourly Rate: £13 Contract Length: Temporary, 1 month Working Pattern: Full-Time, 9am-5pm We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Finance Assistant to provide support to our client, a well-established organisation. This is a temporary position for a duration of 1 month, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance department. Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements and reports. Daily tasks will include processing invoices, managing financial transactions, and reconciling accounts. Maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks. Assisting with the preparation of various financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting. Providing support during audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure timely processing of payments and accurate financial reporting. Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required. Skills: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department. Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills. Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis. Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures. Strong organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
