Job Title: Steel MIG Welder Location: Lowestoft Position: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a proficient Steel MIG Welder to join our team in Suffolk. This role is essential to our operations and involves a significant amount of repetitive work, including jig-based welding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of producing high-quality welds consistently. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on steel components with precision and efficiency. Work primarily with jig-based welding setups to ensure accuracy and repeatability. Maintain high standards of weld quality and adherence to safety protocols. Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure they meet company specifications. Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets. Perform routine maintenance and care of welding equipment. Core Hours: 39.5 hours per week. Flexibility to cover up to 45 hours per week during busy periods. Requirements: Proven experience as a MIG welder, particularly with steel welding. Ability to work with jig-based welding setups. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
