About the Job Maxx Royal Resorts is seeking a high-profile, German- and English-speaking Regional Director of Luxury Sales for the DACH Region to join our global luxury team based at our London office. Responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. The Regional Director of Sales will also participate in industry organizations and community events, developing and maintaining rapport with clients and industry peers. This experienced Director of Sales knows how to create and execute a successful strategy to achieve financial targets while proactively nurturing relationships and identifying customer trends with a tactical approach to drive overall revenue both internally and externally. This strategic role will ensure that Maxx Royal Resorts is positioned as a key luxury hospitality brand in the market. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and motivated individual; a self-starter with a hunger for knowledge and success. Job Responsibilities Work with the Global Commercial Director to create and implement a sales strategy in accordance with budget Apply strategy to fully penetrate the DACH market for Maxx Royal Brand and build its reputation as one of the top tier luxury resort brands for leisure, family, wellness, destination weddings and incentive business Leverage your experience and network to identify new opportunities within the Luxury Travel Trade segment Strengthen relationships with accounts/partners and collaborate to identify ways Maxx Royal can strengthen positioning, increase revenue and shift market share Negotiate contract terms with key Luxury Tour Operators and Luxury Travel Networks to create mutually beneficial agreements Work with Marketing Manager on trade marketing pieces and other ad hoc marketing and promotional activities that will support the sales strategy Develop and nurture relationships via face to face and continuous communication. This includes, but is not limited to, personal visits, entertainment, industry events, trade shows and client site inspections, familiarisation trips. Work closely with the on-property Reservations Team to ensure all requests are dealt with in a timely manner and are presented with creativity and imagination Utilise their understanding of revenue management and work collaboratively with the Director of Revenue in order to achieve financial goals Create a portfolio of top accounts and keep updated consistently Identify potential changes in the market in a timely manner and pivot to ensure that revised strategies are quickly in place in order to stimulate alternative demand channels Coordinate logistics & funding and accompany fam trips to Maxx Royal Resorts in order to increase awareness, knowledge and loyalty among key opinion leaders and top bookers from DACH Work within the boundaries of the budgeted and forecasted sales expenses Ensure payment schedules are made clear to clients and are adhered to at all times Submit reports to the Global Commercial Director when required Qualifications Fluent in German English Bachelor's degree in hospitality Proven track record in sales (marketing beneficial) preferably within the luxury hospitality industry Proficient managing partner luxury partner Leading Hotels of the World and global consortia American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, Virtuoso, Serandipians, among others Experience in relevant luxury travel trade shows and experiential activations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time management abilities Entrepreneurial with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office
