Restaurant Manager Location: Near Bicester, Oxfordshire Salary: £40,000 DOE Hours: 48 Hours per week, 5 days over 7 Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our clients team. If you have a strong background in hospitality and a knack for managing both staff and operations efficiently, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day performance of the restaurant & bar, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service. Analyse sales levels and profitability and prepare detailed reports to drive business success. Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a diverse team, ensuring that kitchen, bar, and waiting staff work together seamlessly. Engage with customers, handle queries and complaints, and provide expert advice on menu and wine selections. Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and ensure compliance with licensing laws and other legal requirements. Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage cash flow including petty cash and cash drawers. Promote the brand locally through events and word-of-mouth marketing. Required Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead by example. Excellent interpersonal skills for managing both customer and staff relationships. Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment. Good business acumen with a focus on achieving successful performance outcomes. Comprehensive understanding of hygiene and health and safety regulations. Proficient in restaurant management software. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make confident decisions. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage (F&B) with attention to detail in menu offerings.
