Mitie is a leading facilities management company, and we are expanding our Immigration & Justice sector. As the Head of People for the Immigration & Justice sector, you will report to the Chief People Officer and have a dotted line to the People Director of the Communities Division. You will partner with the Managing Director of Immigration & Justice to cultivate a transparent, high-performing culture. This is a critical role for Mitie as we expand our Immigration & Justice sector. You will lead organisational design activities to deliver tailored people change, talent, L&D, and reward solutions. Data-Driven Insights Leader In this role, you will monitor key metrics such as labour costs, engagement, and talent retention, and generate regular reports to share insights with senior leadership. You will oversee all people aspects of new business deals, including bids and contract mobilisations, and manage the people components of margin enhancement initiatives. You will foster an environment of high performance, trust, and openness by establishing strong relationships with the Senior Leadership Team through regular communication, respect, and genuine interest in their well-being and development. You will oversee escalated HR cases and cyclical activities, providing expert counsel and guidance. You will promote continuous improvement and adaptability, encouraging employees to embrace change as an opportunity for growth and development. Recent experience in a senior HR role within the Immigration and/or Justice sectors is essential . You should have a strong track record in managing and driving HR strategy in a fast-paced, complex environment, and comprehensive experience as a Senior HR Business Partner. A commercial and pragmatic approach to human capital solutions is essential, as is the ability to provide accurate and timely people insights. Experience in project management and knowledge of TUPE regulations are also required. The ability to travel and a clean driving licence are also required.
